My Highland Love by Tarah Scott

MyHighlandLovebyTarahScott200x300_96DPI_FINAL★★★★★Danger? Highlanders? Sexy heroes?  This book has it all!  Although not my usual type of read, I found myself enjoying each and every page.

Elise and Marcus – two star-crossed lovers.  When Elise is shipwrecked and taken in by his clan, Marcus returns home to find her beauty and fiery personality have captivated his father and Marcus finds he cannot get his mind off her.  Although he thinks better of it he is obsessed and does everything within his power to win and woo this gorgeous woman.  Even as he fights his neighboring clan, the Campbells, his only thought is of Elise.

Elise has a dark past full of secrets.  She grapples with it.  She is one-minded.  She has revenge in her heart and nothing will stop her from destroying the one person who caused the deaths of her beloved daughter and brother.   She knows what she must do and her every waking thought is of the dastardly man who ruined everything dear to her.  Even Marcus cannot deter her from her plan.  Or can he?

What follows is a rollicking, danger-filled, lustful, excited romance that is not to be missed.  The characters are robust and full of life.  The setting is every romance-reader’s dream.  If you love all the elements I’ve just listed don’t miss this book.  I can see I’ll have to read the second in the series just to keep up with what’s happening.  This author knows how to hold your attention!
